After this, AdvantaClean’s crew built a containment to isolate the affected area from the rest of the house then detached, cleaned, sanitized and relocated the dishwasher and stove and saved them re-installation. We removed the water/microbial damaged kitchen cabinets and drywall, and discovered hidden mold in the back of the cabinets. We removed all affected materials, and HEPA vacuumed the interior of the wall cavities and sprayed an EPA registered disinfectant into the cavities. After this, all metals/ wood studs were wiped down with an EPA approved antimicrobial solution, and we painted all remaining materials with an anti-microbial encapsulation paint in the wall cavity to protect the remaining material from advanced microbial growth.
