Don’t Get Burned While Maintaining Your Yard!   As the heat of summer trickles into your yard, chances are you’re out there hard at work. Unfortunately, so are UV rays. The Federal Occupational Health (FOH) sector of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services has deemed July UV Safety Month in an effort to bring awareness to the dangers of UV rays. According to the FOH, several studies have linked overexposure of the sun with skin cancer; and harmful UV rays from both the sun and indoor tanning sunlamps can cause many other complications aside from skin cancer, such as eye problems, weakened immune systems, age spots, wrinkles, and leathery skin.
