Clogged exhaust grill of dryer vent
Location: Homestead, FL 33033
Problem: Client contacted AdvantaClean of Kendall in order to have their residential dryer vent cleaned, as the dryer was indicating a flow sense error. The client inform us that they tried to clean the dryer vent by blowing pressure air into it but it was not working.
Solution: After inspecting the whole dryer vent, we encounter that the roof exhaust had the grill installed. This grills are design to keep birds from nesting inside the dryer vent, but over time the grills get clogged with the lint, blocking the air flow and creating problems with the dryer. After removing the grill and the lint the dryer was working with no issues.
